Detect everything – even a hole
Unpolarized retro-reflective photoelectric sensor RK 46C VarOS from Leuze is a novelty that significantly increases the flexibility in detecting irregularly shaped objects.
The new Leuze photocell from the 46 family, using only a single sensor, enables reliable detection of objects even in cases where the shape and size are constantly changing.
Use the entire height of the light beam
Retro-reflective sensor 46C serves as a model for detection of: damaged pallets (where, for example, part of the pallet is missing), pallets of different sizes and shapes, objects with irregular and curved edges, objects with protruding parts, objects with gaps or holes,… Specially designed optics enable the detection of the object at the entire height of the light beam.
With a simple setting, you can set the minimum object size to 7 mm or 14 mm. The height of the light beam can be between 45 mm and 60 mm. Mechanically the sensor is a representative of the popular 46 series, i.e., in a plastic housing, and is compatible with all existing mounting material and reflectors.
