Monitor Drives with Vibration Sensor
Housed in rugged stainless steel, CMVT-M8T from Turck monitors the condition of motors and drives via single-axis vibration measurement.
This vibration sensor mounts easily in existing service holes (e.g., on drives) using an M8 screw-in thread and the included mounting adapter (up to M30), providing three selectable output signals for precise vibration monitoring with minimal installation effort.
Reduce Costs with Flexible Integration
The sensor measures vibrations along one axis, making it ideal for typical drive, pump, or fan applications where the primary vibration direction is perpendicular to the rotation axis.
With IO-Link, PNP switching, and 4–20 mA analog outputs, the CMVT-M8T supports universal integration—allowing OEMs to stock a single sensor model and reduce inventory costs. It offers high measurement accuracy of ±0.5% at 159.2 Hz and provides RMS acceleration and velocity values, as well as peak acceleration values and temperature. The frequency range is adjustable to suit specific application needs.

Effortless Standalone Monitoring
The CMVT-M8T can be commissioned without a controller by using the Vibration Monitor app in the Turck Automation Suite (TAS) or through an IO-Link master with a web server.
When combined with a warning light, fully autonomous condition monitoring systems can be implemented—ideal for retrofitting into existing setups.
The sensor meets ISO 10816-3 for identifying critical vibration levels.
