Air Flow Sensors for Digitalized Airflow Monitoring
Compact Turck FCS air flow sensors enable simple, real-time digital monitoring of airflow and temperature, ensuring smooth operation even in hard-to-access applications. With IO-Link communication, users gain fast setup, remote parameterization, and valuable process data that supports condition monitoring and predictive maintenance.
Easily Monitor Airflows and Temperatures
TURCK‘s FCS air flow sensors equipped with IO-Link provide precise digital monitoring of airflow and temperature—ideal for supervising fans, filters, and ductwork in industrial ventilation or exhaust systems. In contrast to devices with analogue output, IO-Link simplifies parameter setup and supplies extended process information such as temperature data.
Users benefit from rapid commissioning and the ability to fine-tune settings remotely, even after the device is installed—particularly useful for installations located deep inside air ducts. With no mechanical adjustment components, the sensor design eliminates potential leakage risks.
Comprehensive status information via IO-Link
The FCS series delivers detailed status information through IO-Link and complies with the Smart Sensor Profile. In addition to switching outputs for airflow and temperature, users gain access to diagnostic and operating data suitable for IIoT applications.
The built-in six-color LED provides immediate visual feedback on the sensor state.
Options with integrated cables or short pigtails and an M12 connector ensure versatile integration into new or existing systems.
Ideal for Ventilation and Exhaust Applications
Typical uses include monitoring airflow in HVAC ducts, industrial exhaust systems, and fan installations, as well as tracking filter performance. These sensors are also deployed in ventilation systems for tunnels and underground car parks.
The product range includes the compact FCS-K20 for plug-in mounting and the FCS-M18 for threaded mounting. Both are offered with a 2 m cable or a 0.2 m pigtail with M12 connection.
