Correct Tilt of the Object Actively
The optoCONTROL (ODC) 2700 detects the exact alignment and angle of the measuring object, making precise alignment unnecesary. Thanks to integrated evaluation, the measured value is automatically adjusted to the inclination of the measuring object in real-time.
The precise measurement value is output, and inclination correction is available for the diameter measuring programs. The detected image can be output via the web interface and visually checked.
Measure Angle of the Object
Additionally to correcting inclination, the ODC2700 can accurately determine and document the angle of the measuring object of up to 45°. It outputs the results through both the integrated web interface and the digital interfaces.
The LED micrometer is universally compatible with various measuring objects and exhibits high resistence to interference from sources like ambient light or dust. The ODC2700 stands out for its precise measurement results, especially when applied to transparent objects such as glass rods and glass wafers.
Set up LED micrometer easily
The ODC2700 operates based on the shadow casting principle and features telecentric optics on both sides. The receiver’s integrated controller reduces cabling and installation efforts, eliminating the need for an external control unit.
The entire configuration of the optoCONTROL 2700 is performed without additional software via an easy-to-use web interface. Accessible via an Ethernet connection, the web interface enables quick and straightforward adjustment of parameters such as averaging, measuring rate, or presets. It also offers extensive parameterization options for various measurement tasks. With just one click, six stored presets allow for rapid and easy sensor parameterization tailored to the specific measurement task.
Utilize the Black and White image
The precise positioning of the measuring object in the light beam is made quick and easy thanks to the set-up mode. The integrated scalable black-and-white image allows for effortless optimization of the measuring object or the micrometer’s position. This saves users time and effort during setup and adjustment. A red line indicates the midpoint of the measuring range in both axes.
Additionally, the ODC2700 features modern Industrial Ethernet interfaces for seamless integration into machines and systems, including Analog, Ethercat, Ethernet/IP, Ethernet, PROFINET and RS422.
