High-performance industrial laser sensor OptoNCDT ILR 1171 from Micro-Epsilon provides 20 times faster distance measurements up to 270 m. A measuring rate of up to 40 kHz and laser ToF principle allow stable measurements on static and dynamic targets even in demanding conditions. Higher measuring rate for high-quality signal

Distance laser sensor OptoNCDT ILR 1171-125 is ideal for outdoor distance measurements up to 270 m. It is replacing the ILR1191 model, but due to the laser time-of-flight (ToF) principle with infrared light and much higher measuring rate, the ILR1171-125 achieves high energy pulses, which allows for stable measurements with very good signal quality. In addition, this sensor stays operational even in demanding conditions such as rain and fog. Its high temperature stability allows applications at temperatures from -40 °C to +60 °C.

Optical averaging on a larger spot on target ensures a high quality signal and consequently, high quality measurement. The sensor has an analog output but for faster setting and control there is an option to connect the sensor to a PC.

Distance laser sensor OptoNCDT ILR 1171-125 can, in case there is no reflector, measure across distances longer than 0.2m and in between 125 m on white target and 70 m on black target. With a reflector, the maximum range increases to 270 m. Start of measuring range is 0.2 m. The linearity in the 1–70 m rangeis better than ±60 mm and repeatability is better than 25 mm.

This laser distance sensor ensures fast measurements of displacement and distance without contact. Thanks to its compact dimensions and ALU frame, it can be integrated even into the smallest installation spaces across numerous industrial applications.
