The Real-Time Surface Compensation (RTSC) algorithm provides quick adjustments to ever-changing surface conditions. Laser scanners 25xx series

Sensors with a compact design, high profile resolution and a small laser line thus offer you a cost-effective solution for quality control in production and industrial automation. ScanCONTROL COMPACT sensors are intended for integrators, for transmitting profile data to the integrator application, while the scanCONTROL SMART sensors already have the built-in data processing.

Thanks to the excellent price/performance ratio and the combination of design and signal quality, the sensor is particularly suitable for serial applications and projects that include numerous laser scanners.

Laser scanners 25xx series

The COMPACT class (scanCONTROL 2500) is available for capturing 2D/3D data and sending it for analysis to the user’s application, while the SMART class (scanCONTROL 2510) has a built-in data processing. Variants with measuring ranges of 25 mm, 50 mm and 100 mm are available for both classes. You can check the specifications for each class below.

The red-light profile sensor uses a red laser diode with a wavelength of 658 nm as the light source. The number of dots/pixels per profile (along the x-axis) is 640, and the measurement frequency (for each profile) is up to 300 measurements per second. The interface for profile data is Ethernet, while the output interfaces are Ethernet, RS422, analog or digital.

Laser scanners 30xx series

The Micro Epsilon’s scanCONTROL laser scanner of the 30xx series is one of the most powerful profile sensor with respect to size, accuracy and measuring rate. It provides calibrated 2D profile data with up to 5.5 million dots per second. The measuring rate of up to 10 kHz enables you accurate measurement of profiles in dynamic processes.

The highly sensitive receiving CMOS sensor array with a resolution of 2,048 pixels allows a distance between points of only 12 µm (LLT30xx-25). In this way, even the smallest details in the profile can be detected. Many interfaces, such as digital outputs/inputs, Ethernet, PROFINET, EtherNet / IP or EtherCAT, allow direct export of profile data.

Numerous models of LLT30xx series

The COMPACT (scanCONTROL 3000) and HIGHSPEED (scanCONTROL 3050) classes are available for capturing 2D/3D data and sending it for analysis in the user’s application, as well as the SMART (scanCONTROL 3010) and HIGHSPEED-SMART (scanCONTROL 3060) classes, with the built-in data processing. The measuring rate for the COMPACT and SMART classes is up to 300 Hz, and for the HIGHSPEED and HIGHSPEED-SMART up to 10 kHz.

Variants with the measuring range of 25 mm and 50 mm are available in all classes, as well as the variants with red laser light 658 nm for standard applications and blue laser light 405 nm for stable measurements on glowing metal objects, partially transparent materials and organic materials.
