The True Color Sensors or Micro-Epsilon CFO colorimeters are highly accurate controllers for precise color recognition exceeding human eye detection. The CFO series is distinguished by high color accuracy, state-of-the-art interfaces and intuitive operation.
It is ideal for fast, contactless and reliable color recognition (i.e., relative color measurement) in the field of automation, production control and product quality control. The colorSENSOR CFO100 and colorSENSOR CFO200 are available.
Meet the characteristics
The controller from IP65 protection class is housed in a robust aluminum housing. It operates in the temperature range from -10 °C to +55 °C. Due to the enabled access via an innovative web interface, the color sensor is easy to use.
Connecting the sensor to a PC via the Ethernet interface allows the user to choose from a number of operating settings and access to graphical representations of measurement results.

ColorSENSOR CFO100 colorimeter is distinguished by: high brightness of the LED source (> 130 lm), high accuracy, repeatability ∆E ≤ 0.5 and Ethernet and RS232 interface. The measurement speed is up to 10 kHz. It is possible to save 256 colors from 6 color groups. Color control takes place in L * a * b * / L * u * in * color spaces.
ColorSENSOR CFO200 colorimeter has one of the highest luminance sources in its class (> 220 lm), boasts high accuracy, ∆E ≤ 0.3 repeatability and Ethernet, RS232 and USB interfaces. The measurement speed is up to 30 kHz. 320 colors from 254 color groups can be saved. In addition to relative color measurement, it can also be used effectively to distinguish between materials or coatings, between which there are negligible differences.
