Inxpect safety radars detect the access or presence of operators and objects in hazardous areas and allow dynamic configuration of detection and warning zones.

Within the 200 Series Plug&Safe Line, Inxpect developed the S202A-MV sensor, specifically designed for Presence Sensing applications, and the S202A-MS sensor, tailored for Safeguarding functions.

Enhance productivity with the Plug&Safe Line

Both sensors offer outstanding reliability, exceptionally simple configuration—just 3 parameters for the S202A-MV and 2 for the S202A-MS—and advanced safety features that protect operators in demanding environments.

These IP67-rated sensors are immune to dust, dirt, debris, smoke, and even moderate water exposure (rainfall rate up to 45 mm/h). They comply with PLd and SIL2 safety standards, as well as EN ISO 10218-2—all while significantly boosting productivity.

Prevent Unexpected Machinery Restart with the S202A-MV

The S202A-MV volumetric safety device monitors hazardous areas and prevents unintended machine startups while operators are still present. It intelligently filters out static objects, but they do not trigger a stop.

Setup is super simple—only 3 parameters are needed: height, length, and width.

Installation height ranges from 250 cm to 300 cm from the reference plane, with a width range from – 200 cm to + 200 cm (min. 50 cm). With a 4-meter range, it covers up to 48 m³, offering a maximum vertical angular coverage of 90°.

Prevent Unauthorized Access with the S202A-MS

The S202A-MS safety radar sensor can be used as a virtual wall, safeguarding hazardous areas. It enables quick and easy access control in a wide range of applications.

Configuration is simple, requiring only two parameters—height and length.

Installation height ranges from 100 cm to 250 cm from the reference plane, with a width range from – 5 cm to + 5 cm. The sensor offers a maximum horizontal coverage of up to 4 m.
