Time of Flight Camera
The Time Of Flight camera (ToF) from the established manufacturer Basler enables the capture of 2D and 3D data in one shot. Basler’s ToF camera offers an attractive solution for a wide range of applications, including logistics, automation and biometrics.
How does the Time of Flight camera work?
The principle of measurement is based on measuring the time it takes light to travel from the light source to the object and back to the camera; The longer the distance, the longer the light needs for this path.
The light source and the image capture are synchronized so that the distance to the object is recorded in the data of the captured image itself.
