Camera blaze-112 with Extra Large Field of View

Basler introduced ToF camera blaze-112, perfect for 3D applications in confined spaces. Operating at an 850 nm wavelength, it delivers an impressive wide field of view, exceptional low latency, minimal noise, and remarkable precision.

Innovation in 3D Vision Technology

Basler’s innovative Time-of-Flight (ToF) camera blaze-112, thanks to its wide field of view (FoV) of 108°×77°, flawlessly captures 3D images in confined workspaces such as warehouses and factories. Unlike the blaze-102 camera, which operates at a wavelength of 940 nm and excels in outdoor 3D ToF applications where sunlight and artificial light mix, the blaze-112 uses laser diodes VCSEL in near-infrared (NIR) light spectrum with a wavelength of 850 nm. This makes it perfect for capturing high-quality 3D images in indoor applications (e.g., warehouses, factories).

With outstanding depth data, minimal latency, low noise, and IP67 industrial-grade housing, the blaze-112 is the ideal choice for precision tasks in the most demanding environments. Leverage its efficiency for obstacle detection, navigation, pallet handling, and more.

Basler ToF Camera blaze-112 - features

This ToF camera excels with:

  • Wide FoV: Featuring 108° × 77° field of view and a flexible working distance (0.3–10 m), it captures up to three pallets side by side, even at very short (less than 1.5 m) working distances—perfect for narrow aisles.
  • Stray Light Robustness: The 850 nm wavelength variant provides precise indoor 3D imaging, resisting interference or inaccuracies caused by unwanted light sources, such as reflections, ambient light, or other external light sources.
  • Compact & Robust Design: Resistant to corrosion, shock, vibration, water, and dust (IP67 standards), this ToF camera with 100 mm x 81 mm x 64 mm industrial-grade housing stands up to harsh environments.
  • Easy Commissioning & Integration: Seamless set up and deployment is ensured by the proven Basler pylon software with the complementary Supplementary Package.

Key features of ToF Cameras blaze

  • Precise 3D imaging: Featuring Sony’s IMX556 depth-sense sensor, this ToF camera delivers precise optical measurements with superior 3D depth accuracy, capturing 2D and 3D data in one shot at up to 30 frames per second.
  • Real-time streaming: The blaze-112 is ideal for applications where the imaging system’s speed is crucial. The processing of depth data is completed in the camera to reduce the computational and data load on the CPU.
  • Dual Exposure HDR feature: The High Dynamic Range (HDR) function captures precise 3D point clouds of high-contrast scenes by combining two exposures, accurately representing both bright and dark objects.
  • Multi-camera operation: The Basler ToF Camera ensures interference-free, synchronized operation of multiple cameras, ideal for capturing large objects, full scenes, or moving targets like AGVs in a warehouse, regardless of network location.
