Continuous monitoring and analysis of production processes are required to assure top quality of products.

Depending on which process you want to control, you can choose from:

These sensors detect and measure the amount of heat energy or coldness that is generated by an object or system and convert it into an electrical signal. They are required to be in physical contact with the object being sensed and they use conduction to monitor changes in temperature. You can use them to measure/check/solids, liquids, or gases over a wide range of temperatures. Those sensors vary from simple ON/OFF thermostatic devices to highly sensitive semiconductor types that control complex processes.

IR thermometers use detectors for infrared radiation, to measure the temperature of the body/object by measuring radiated energy without contact. Fast and reliable continuous temperature measurements of moving, extremely hot/cold or difficult-to access objects are thereby made possible. Measuring temperatures from -50–3000 °C without physical contact can prove to be a significant cost advantage. You can use them in a wide variety of applications. These IR sensors measure precisely and reliably from low temperatures prevalent in cooling chains or laboratories, to the highest temperatures in hot molten metals and blast furnaces.

These sensors measure and monitor the pressure in gases or liquids, wherever such measurement is needed, e.g., on presses, cooling circuits, storage tanks, etc. They convert pressure into an analog electrical signal and they can feature digital outputs. Since they serve many different types of applications, there are many types of sensors available with a wide variety of characteristics. They allow you to measure relative, absolute, or differential pressures.

infrared thermal Micro-Epsilon sensors

These sensors measure or regulate the flow rate of liquids and gasses within pipes and tubes. They allow you to prevent damage or downtime caused by flow interruptions, i.e., to detect leaks, blockages, pipe bursts, and changes in liquid concentration due to contamination or pollution.

Infrared imaging cameras are sophisticated sensing devices that provide a visual representation of the infrared energy emitted by objects. They enable detailed real-time analysis of temperature distribution of target object. With these extremely valuable diagnostic tools you will be able to find areas of heat loss, overheating or other temperature parameters across many applications.

These sensors measure or calculate multiple parameters described above and often convert the measurements to the desired units.
