AI Has Arrived in UniLogic
UniLogic is the all-in-one software environment for programming Unitronics UniStream PLCs, integrating PLC logic, HMI, I/O, motion, VFDs and communication configuration in a single platform.
With the introduction of AI, Unitronics takes PLC development a step further. Instead of writing IEC 61131-3 Structured Text (ST) logic line by line, engineers can start by defining what the machine needs to do.
The AI Wizard guides the user through questions about the application, control method and I/O, then automatically creates a detailed, UniLogic-aware prompt based on the existing project context and tags. This can be used with leading AI models such as ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini.
The result: significantly less manual coding and a much faster path from machine requirements to functional PLC logic.
