Clear space Technology
Hirschmann Clear space Technology guarantees uninterrupted WLAN transmission in outdoor applications by eliminating all concurrent radio frequencies. This leads to lower noise level and less packet loss. Especially in industrial environments where different radio technologies are used, Clear Space makes the use of WLAN possible and reliable.
Guarantee stable wireless connection in all conditions
The access points of the new Hirschmann family OpenBAT can be mounted on a DIN rail, on a wall or on poles indoors or outdoors. They operate in the temperature range from -40 °C to +70 °C.
All versions support the IEEE 802.11n standard, with PROFINET, Ethernet / IP, Public Spot and VPN Gateway option. It can be powered by AC (90V – 265V), DC (18V – 320V) or PoE. Large selection of certificates: EN61850-3, e1, EN50155, ATEX zone 2, NEMA 4X.
Improve latency, reliability and transmission speed
The use of new redundancy protocols that duplicate packets (in the case of the PRP redundancy protocol and the use of both 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz bandwidths) improves latency, reliability as well as packet transmission speed, which can be seen in the table below.
