The TQ 900 and TQ 700 pull-wire emergency stop switches from Schmersal are mounted on machines and sections of plants which cannot be protected by guards. The Emergency-Stop command can be triggered anywhere along the wire.
Use pull-wire emergency stop switches in different applications
The TQ 900 and TQ 700 pull-wire emergency stop switches are a part of Schmersal’s family of safety switches. They can be used as emergency stop switches along conveyor belts, complex devices and production drives such e.g., in wood processing industry, raw materials industry. The 900 series features a wire of up to 50 m, and the 700 series of up to 10 m.
With latch contacts and a reset button (with the option of an additional emergency stop button), they can be used as a safety device for emergency shutdown, or as a simple pull switch (TQ). The 900 series switch has a metal housing and up to 4 contacts, and the 700 series is in a plastic housing with two contacts.

Schmersal also offers a Tensioning Jack for the S 900 steel wire. It can be used to easily clamp and tension the steel wire. It can be used on both sides of the steel wire.
