Connect signal lines to up to 31 safety devices

Schmersal has further supplemented its product line in the field of machine safety equipment. The BDF 200-SD control console , which belongs to the group of electronic safety devices, is available to you. Now, the BDF 200-SD control console also allows you to connect the emergency stop button, which acts as a safety device on the console, to the SD bus.

The SD bus will allow you to connect signal lines up to 31 safety devices in series and connect via an interface to standard industrial buses such as Profibus, Profinet, Ethernet, CAN and others.

Connect to a safety relay module or controller

You will be able to bind the safety signals of the same BDF 200-SD control consoles in series. You will be able to connect the end of the circuit to a safety relay module or safety controller.

You can connect them with special Schmersal passive modules, which make such connection easier.
