The optoNCDT 1900 laser triangulation sensor is the latest model of Micro Epsilon laser sensors. The latter creates advanced technical solutions in the field of automation, especially where you need extremely accurate measurements or inspection.

The innovative optoNCDT 1900 sensor can be used for dynamic measurements of movement, distance and position in automation and robotics. You will be provided with a unique combination of high speed, compact design and precision. The integrated high-performance controller will ensure very fast and accurate processing and display of measured values.

Measure accurately & insensitive to ambient light

Laser triangulation sensor’s sensitivity to ambient light is significantly reduced (up to 50,000 lux), which places it at the very top of its class in terms of light resistance. With a measurement frequency of up to 10 kHz, you will ensure extremely fast measurements.

The optoNCDT 1900 sensor includes advanced algorithms for Advanced Surface Compensation. This ensures stable and reliable measurements even on very demanding surfaces.

Features of optoNCDT laser triangulation sensor

  • Measuring ranges (mm): 10 // 25 // 50, additional ranges will be available soon,
  • Linearity from 2 µm onwards (± 0.02% FSO),
  • Adjustable measurement frequency up to 10 kHz,
  • Analog (4… 20 mA; 0 (5 V / 0 (10 V) and digital outputs,
  • Digital interfaces (RS422 / 18 bit),
  • PROFINET / EtherNet / IP interface module,
  • For signal optimization, the two-stage averaging measurement value allows you highly stable and accurate measurements, even of edges and steps (± 0.02%).

Quick and easy to install

The new, patented mounting concept will allow you to accurately and repeatably position the optoNCDT 1900 laser triangulation sensor. Mounting the sensor using the built-in sleeves automatically aligns the sensor to the ideal measuring position. This will allow you to easily replace the sensor, while ensuring even greater accuracy in performing measurement tasks

Thanks to its small size (70 x 31 x 45 mm), lightness and stable aluminum housing, this laser triangulation sensor can also be installed in a space-limited environment. The sensor has a protection level of IP67.
