You can use one of the top absolute encoders with any Profinet system to greatly simplify the process of device design and enabling reliable communication. The latter is especially important in complex installations and multi-purpose machines.

There are two sub-series of ACURO encoders with the additional Profinet interface available, the ACURO AC58 and ACURO AC61. They also feature standard SSI, BiSS, EtherCAT, Profibus, CANopen, CANlayer2, DeviceNet, Interbus and SUCOnet interfaces.
